DELAWARE 87ERS TO HOST DINOSAUR ADVENTURE NIGHT PRESENTED BY HIGHMARK DELAWARE
WILMINGTON, DE – MARCH 7, 2018 –The Delaware 87ers will host Dinosaur Adventure Night presented by Highmark Delaware in the team’s final home game of the season on Tuesday, March 13 when it faces the Maine Red Claws.
Sevens players will wear special-themed Jurassic Jerseys that will be auctioned off to fans to benefit Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the cause.
Walk teams from 2017 will be in attendance and participate in various in-game promotions. Participants of the two teams that raised the most money for the 2017 walk will receive their own custom Jurassic Jerseys in a special on-court ceremony.
After raising an all-time high $158,873 last year, this year’s walk will be held on Saturday, June 9 at Frawley Stadium and will benefit 23 health and human service organizations. You can register for the walk or donate atwww.walkforahealthycommunity.org.
Throughout the game, larger-than-life dinosaurs will be roaming the KidZone courtesy of Jungle John. A Jurassic Park replica Jeep and movie props will be on display courtesy of Jurassic Party Jeep. The first 1,200 fans will receive a Jurassic Jungle wristband courtesy of the Franklin Group.
In addition, it’s also Fan Appreciation Night. Throughout the game, fans in attendance will receive giveaways, prizes and more!
