WILMINGTON, DE – JANUARY 1, 2018 – The Delaware 87ers will host Nickelodeon Night featuring SpongeBob SquarePants presented by Reybold Group to benefit CHILD, Inc. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, when the team hosts the Erie BayHawks at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Sevens players will wear special-themed SpongeBob SquarePants jerseys that will be auctioned off to fans to benefit CHILD, Inc. Twenty percent of tickets purchased using promo code REYBOLD here will also be donated to CHILD, Inc.

CHILD, Inc.’s mission is to be the leading advocate for Delaware’s children. The nonprofit serves dependent, neglected and abused children and their parents by providing creative prevention and treatment programs for individuals involved in domestic violence situations. By protecting the victims and treating those responsible for acts of domestic violence, CHILD, Inc. helps children heal. CHILD, Inc. also provides the only children’s shelter and runaway shelter in the state, in addition to many programs such as those held in schools for anger management and dating violence prevention.

In addition, special SpongeBob SquarePants-themed promotions will be held throughout the night, including musical chairs, trivia challenge and get dressed race, which will feature the jerseys. Reybold and CHILD, Inc. representatives will receive their very own jerseys in an on-court recognition.

The Delaware 87ers of the NBA G League were relocated to America’s first state in 2013 and named to commemorate the year in which Delaware ratified the U.S. Constitution, 1787.
